- Source and secure carrier capacity for spot and contractual freight
- Negotiate competitive rates while protecting company margins
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers
- Communicate with track & trace on resolving freight issues
- Track market conditions, lane pricing, and capacity trends
- Ensure carriers meet compliance, safety, and insurance requirements
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers / Sales team / Client directly
- Update TMS with accurate load and carrier information
- Capacity to multitask and handle high levels of stress.
- Experience in logistics, carrier sales, dispatching trucks or brokerage (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of freight markets and transportation modes
- Proficiency with TMS systems and MS Office / Google Workspace
